The Coolest Profession in the World….
The internet and the world is changing dramatically (in beautiful ways), and lots more people are transferring from the typical 9 to 5, to working in self employment.
According to the bureau of Labor statistics, 40% of the country’s workforce is expected to be self-employed by the end of the decade.
These statistics are not surprising, because with the incredible possibilities now available, if you’re not immensely passionate about your job (and statistically 88% of the WORLD works for money just to survive, not because they love it) I don’t see why anyone would choose to work in something they ‘have to’ when they can do work that’s flexible, that pays better, that lets them flourish and be free.
I think most jobs are way too inflexible and rigid and slowly make us die inside. It might sound extreme, but how many people do you know that have a ‘job’ are really living their dreams?
If you ask most people, if they’re doing what they’ve always wanted to do, very few will say they are.
So I wanted to list a few of the benefits that distinguish traditional employment and self employment jobs from home and inspire you, if you haven’t already taken the leap…
Typical 9 – 5 job: Unique advantages of self employment jobs from home:
*You work for someone else *Work on your own terms, be creative, decide everything
*You have a capped income * You can earn more depending on how much value you give
*Typically required to work 40hrs *Decide your own hours and schedule, be free
*standard job training/courses *master what fascinates you, grow inside, find yourself
*work in the same place/location *work from anywhere in the world, at any hours of the day
*specific dress code/work clothes *work in your favorite clothes, your Pjs or bathers
*few promotional opportunities *You decide how much you earn, how fast and how fulfilling it is
*work activities preselected *endless creativity, try new things, outsource anything

*potential monotony *Do extraordinary things, tap into your potential, be spontaneous
*spend lots of time ‘at work’ *spend time having fun, experiencing life, becoming a better
*live paycheck to paycheck *become financially independent, retire early, afford anything
*usually easily replaceable *be unique, stand out, leave a legacy, make a difference
*tied to your work *completely independent, truly free, define your own reality
